The Wensum has a long history of investment and change reaching back into the 15th century, with the development of mills etc. In more recent times much focus was brought into the past decade between 2005 and 2015 with many initiatives led by Natural England.
In 2016 these initiatives lost their central government funding as for a period things stalled.
In 2018 a group of concerned anglers came together and brought about forming the Wensum Catchment Partnership, The attached “Past Present and Future” Post on the left provides the story line to this journey.
